ARALMA Asociación Civil es una organización con 23 años de trayectoria en la promoción y defensa de los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes. Desarrollamos acciones de prevención, protección, formación e incidencia en consonancia con los estándares internacionales de derechos humanos, particularmente con la Convención sobre los Derechos del Niño. Nuestro trabajo acompaña a instituciones públicas, privadas y comunitarias en la construcción de entornos seguros, respetuosos y comprometidos con el bienestar y la protección integral de las infancias. En este marco, ARALMA impulsa La Voz de la Infancia, una campaña que cumple 11 años promoviendo la escucha, el respeto y la participación de niñas, niños y adolescentes. La iniciativa se expresa a través de los Molinitos de Viento y del personaje Lile, recursos simbólicos, pedagógicos y comunicacionales que contribuyen a sensibilizar sobre la importancia de escuchar y proteger a las infancias. Junto a organizaciones, instituciones y redes de distintos países, trabajamos para fortalecer el reconocimiento del derecho de niñas, niños y adolescentes a ser escuchados. Por ello, promovemos que el 8 de agosto sea reconocido y celebrado como el Día de La Voz de la Infancia en cada país, provincia, municipio, institución y comunidad que adhiera a esta iniciativa. Nuestra aspiración es que, a partir del compromiso de organizaciones de diferentes regiones del mundo, podamos avanzar progresivamente hacia el reconocimiento de un Día Internacional de La Voz de la Infancia, construido de manera participativa y sostenido por una red global comprometida con la escucha, la participación y los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes. www.aralma.org @somosaralma Conocé más en…

8/8/2026 INTERNATIONAL VOICE OF CHILDHOOD DAY LISTENING TO CHILDREN, RESPECTING THEIR VOICES, PROMOTING THEIR PARTICIPATION
ARALMA is a civil society organization with more than twenty years of experience promoting and defending the rights of children and adolescents. We develop child protection initiatives in accordance with international human rights standards, particularly the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Our work focuses on supporting public and private institutions in building sustainable, respectful, and child-centered practices based on a shared responsibility for the wellbeing and protection of children. Within this framework, ARALMA leads The Voice of Childhood (La Voz de la Infancia), a campaign that this year marks its 11th consecutive year of promoting listening, respect, and meaningful participation for children and adolescents. The campaign is visibly represented through Pinwheels of Hope (Molinitos de Viento) and the character Lile, which serve as symbolic, educational, and communication tools to promote messages of care, protection, and child participation in an accessible and respectful way. ARALMA also works alongside organizations, institutions, and partner networks in different countries to strengthen recognition of children’s right to be heard. In this regard, we encourage the recognition and celebration of August 8th as The Voice of Childhood Day in every country, province, municipality, institution, and community that chooses to join this initiative. Our aspiration is that, through this collective growth and the commitment of organizations from different regions of the world, we can progressively advance toward the recognition of an International Voice of Childhood Day, built through a participatory process and supported by a global network committed to listening to children, promoting their participation, and protecting their rights.
